Ricardo Sokolowska-Pedrosa is a cinematographer based in the UK, Primary shooting in the South-East and London. With Polish and Portuguese heritage, his photography is emotionally led, and always has the narrative at heart with a strong preference for shooting on film - whether 16mm or 35mm. His work spans narrative, commercial, and music video projects.
Ricardo's narrative credits includes Eyes Everywhere, Directed by Simona Calo, a film integrated into a larger documentary project that premiered in Rome, featuring Christopher Lambert, Fortunato Cerlino, and Francesca Inaudi. Umbra, Directed by Vittoria Penalosa, featuring Bafta nominee Posy Sterling and Mark Wingett and the Stolen Tales series, Directed by Ranjit Singh Shubh, which has played at the BFI
He works across commercial campaigns, fashion films, and music videos, with projects that have gained international exposure and industry recognition. He also shot the 16mm portions of a Swarovski capsule collection production. An award-winning filmmaker, he received Best Short Film for Uninhabitable and continues to build a diverse portfolio spanning Narrative, Documentaries, and commercial work.
